About this course

What is revival, and how can we recognise it when it happens? How has the Holy Spirit moved in unexpected ways throughout Australia’s history? What can past revivals teach us about preparing for a fresh move of God today? Can we still pray for and expect revival in our time? In this four-part course, historian and theologian Dr. Stuart Piggin explores the remarkable story of revival in Australia. From convict conversions and Indigenous awakenings to city-wide missions and the enduring impact of prayerful unity, this course traces how the Spirit of God has moved across the nation from the colonial era to the present day. It is a story that inspires fresh faith for what God might yet do in our time.
